There's an addon that provides a wee interface to reorder the accounts the the folders pane and it does just what it says it does.

This worked great for me! thanks! basically what I did was setup my main one for automatic startup service and the other as manual. For me when I initially installed the services they were both set to auto, so you will have to change that since you can't have them both running at the same time

Thanks for the info. Another solution is IEs4Linux. here's the web site.

http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page

and here are the instructions for Ubuntu.

http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Installation:Ubuntu

It runs faster than a vm and takes much less disk space.

Much like Windows Updates, I doubt these upgrades are not 100% essential to the well-being of websites everywhere. I still see current sites running WP 1.5 and 2.0.x all over the place. Most of the blogs we visit are likely not even worth the hassle of hacking or disrupting.

I'm waiting to see how the <a href="http://habariproject.org/en/" rel="nofollow">Habari Project</a> turns out, though. This is a new blogging platform created by users who have some of the same issues, and it looks very promising.

I have been asked about multiple php versions at the same time. Of course what I have set out does not do this and never intended.

There are a few ways to go with apache depending on your need: multiple apaches running, virtual servers or different extensions / types (eg. .php5 for for php5 code and php for php4). I am sure there are other ways as well. Google around and you will find the answer.
